You may not think it, but the right mattress and pillow combination can make a world of difference when it comes to your quality of sleep. So here are some of the best products stomach sleepers can purchase for their perfect night of rest.

Saatva Mattress

The Saatva mattress comes with an impressive 15 year warranty and 120 night sleep trial. Its layers include a Euro pillow top cover, a thin layer of memory foam and individually wrapped coils, plus a steel coil base. It’s commonly seen as the best innerspring mattress for stomach sleepers, due to the fact that it simultaneously helps with movement on the bed, high quality motion transfer, a good level of bounce and the right support for this sleeping position. There are three firmness options with this mattress – plush soft, luxury firm and firm. The latter option is often seen as the best for stomach sleepers, and lighter sleepers who rest on their stomachs may find the luxury firm to be a good choice.

Bear Mattress

The Bear mattress comes with a 10 year limited warranty and a 100 night trial period. It features layers such as cool graphite gel memory foam, a quick response foam layer and a foam base. It’s specifically targeted at stomach sleepers with back pain, as it makes use of Celliant technology in its cover to help reduce these issues. It may not be firm enough for heavier stomach sleepers, but lighter to mid weight sleepers will find it accommodating enough for their sleeping position.

Helix Mattress

This mattress comes with a 10 year limited warranty and a trial period which lasts for 100 nights. Its layers are made of microcoils, polyfoam and the proprietary Helix dynamic foam. It works particularly well for stomach sleepers with a partner, as you can fill out a quiz with your loved one to find the right firmness level to suit you both. After the quiz is complete, your preferred materials with either be blended to create a middle ground, or the mattress will be created half and half – without a seam down the middle – to ensure both people get their perfect night of sleep.

Brooklyn Pillow

The Brooklyn Bedding Talalay Latex pillow is ideal for stomach sleepers of many types. It uses high quality materials such as its Talalay latex and the sap of the Hevea brasiliensis tree. This product has a cover which is both antimicrobial and wicks moisture. It’s highly breathable, too, which overall makes for a sleep setup which benefits both those who tend to overheat at night and allergy sufferers. There is a good level of airflow with this pillow, which stands out compared to other latex foam pillows on the market. Furthermore, this pillow is CertiPUR-US Certified, which means it doesn’t contain toxins and it meets industry health standards.

Saatva Pillow

This pillow will remind many people of the pillows which feature in hotels. It’s made up of shredded American Talalay latex, organic cotton and micro-denier fiber. The cover is highly breathable and wicks away moisture, helping those who overheat during their sleep. As an additional bonus, the Saatva pillow has been constructed using materials which are both renewable and all natural. When it comes to the inner core of this product, it’s made up of highly responsive latex which works to provide a high level of head and neck support. The core is also resistant to dust mites and hypoallergenic, plus it won’t easily take in mildew. You can wash the outer pillow by using the zipper to remove the core beforehand.

Casper Pillow

The Casper pillow is soft and fluffy in build, with low friction silky fibers which make it easy for stomach sleepers to compress it. This means it won’t elevate your head or crane your neck to the point that you experience neck or back pain in the morning. The loft is consistent, which is good for stomach sleeping, and combined with its malleable nature, it’s also good for side sleepers. This product has a dual layer design, which means you can either use the pillow as its default construction, or remove the outer layer for a lower loft. Another way to reduce the loft, if you’re a stomach sleeper who needs next to no pillow at night, is to remove the middle insert and sleep on that instead.
