AWeber Email Marketing

AWeber is one of the oldest functioning email service providers out there – and as such, they have a two or thing to teach the new kids in the business.

If we go back to the beginning of email service providers, chances are that AWeber is the first name that comes to mind. Established in 1998, the company has over 100,000 customers worldwide, with amazing email deliverability and excellent customer support options. In the email department, AWeber has managed to keep up with their competitors – they have a lot of experience after all, and they have polished the delivery part just fine. Message customization is also a bliss with them, opt-in forms are neat, auto-responders here work amazingly, and their reporting tools are more than capable of showing us our rights and wrongs.

Pricing with AWeber doesn’t divide our plans into features and added bonuses – just the opposite, each subscription plan has all the valuable features of the service. The only difference comes from the volume of our contact list. Starting at less than 500 subscribers, we get to use AWeber for $19 per month. Going up to $25,000 subscribers, we have to cash in $149 each month to keep going. A quarterly subscription is eligible for a 14% discount, with the yearly one giving us slightly more – 14,9% discount. They also have a cool 30-day trial period so we can check all of their options and decide if we need them for our business.

Having all possible features open for use in all plans makes AWeber an excellent pick for businesses of all sizes. Their functionality is flawless – they might lack some options we might need but overall, they have what it takes to help our business grow and expand our user base. And while there are cheaper services to get, there are also pricier ones. Choosing AWeber is a matter of personal preferences, and we advise you to go for them if you don’t want to pay extra for any additional features. Because they have it all even in their Minimum Subs Plan!

Best For

What sets AWeber apart from all its competitor email marketing softwares is its ability to import or host a huge database. With its wide range of templates and the best marketing tools, it gives its users multiple options to choose from to make the automated emailing experience worth their while. With autoresponders, responsive email designs, user-friendly interface, and segmentation options, AWeber is your one-stop solution to all your email marketing related woes. It allows its users to create newsletter lists, schedule emails, and draft the best email campaigns. Also, email deliverability has been quite satisfactory with AWeber. Users have also been happy with AWeber with the ease with which they can link it with other programs. AWeber is also known best for its customer service. With a 24/7 customer support available, issues are solved instantly, and users feel at ease and assured with AWeber services.

Email Campaign Creation

Email Campaign creation in AWeber is a solid part of the deal. We get to choose which emails and when to send them, set a time frame, and design our own templates, too. Tagging and joining a list also catalyzes automation options so our business will run itself at times. Campaigns with AWeber can vary from a monthly newsletter to a dedicated weekly email program. Email options here are Send e specific email with a time stamp in its core, a Welcome message anytime a user joins our list, and a Tag automation option to send further emails to subscribers who opened or clicked a link in our email.

While there are modern email service providers which scale better when it comes to Email Campaigns, AWeber still packs the essentials to get the job done. They have over 700 templates to choose from which alone is outstanding. We can also customize each template to our own liking or to suit the campaign in an optimal manner. Only button customization is limited – color, position, and font are the variables we get to enhance on our own.

However, form styles come in handy – you’ve got a pop-up, inline, pop-over, and lightbox to choose from. Mobile device optimization is in place, too, so our emails will be responsive at all times. We can also implement social media pages into our campaigns and this is something to appreciate in today’s Internet-driven era!

Tracking Campaign Performance

Reports in AWeber are awesome. We can monitor open rate, bounces, and clickthroughs, and even more specific statistics. List growth over time, sign up methods overview, geographical charts of opened emails, unique user history, and much more. Broadcasts, Subscribers, and Reports Fields give us the bigger picture in any email campaign – the triple category analytics let us see our progress more clearly and work towards improving it even more.

Help and Support

Having all possible Customer Support channels is bound to eliminate all possible issues with AWeber. We have the email form, the phone contact, and the Live Chat open 24/7. All support forms can be reached easily without the need to wait or open multiple screens. Also, the provider won the Stevie Award in 2016, so this should point out to their excellent customer support efforts!

Comparison to Competitors in the Market

AWeber is significantly cheaper than iContact and Campaign Monitor and roughly costs as much as MailChimp. Also, it is one of the very few marketing services to offer a mobile app through which you can easily manage your list. Though its automated mailing features are not as updated as Mailchimp and GetResponse, it still manages to woo users with its drag and drop Campaign builder for autoresponders and other exciting email marketing strategies.

Although it is one of the old-schoolers in the industry, AWeber still has a lot of fight left in it. They are responsive, user-friendly, and all of their features are available with all pricing plans. Email campaign creation is easy while tracking our success is even more seamless!
